Family Reunions @ SEA!

Well, we are half way through the summer. By now a lot of us have been on our vacation. We have visited family members we haven't seen in years, gotten caught up on old times, and shared some memories. Remember how you found yourself trying to keep on schedule? That same schedule wouldn't allow you to spend as much time as you wanted with the aunt or uncle or cousin that you laughed with over those embarrassing childhood stories of days gone by. Remember your parting words: "Let's stay in touch and not let so much time pass before we see each other again"?

I have the answer for you--a family reunion cruise! You may have never thought of that before; most people haven't. But let me tell you, it's the most fun you can have. You don't have to cook or clean. You don't have to sleep on a couch or air mattress. You don't have to stay at dear Aunt Peg's house (who keeps the house thermostat about 2 degrees below the "broil" setting). You and your immediate family will have their own stateroom, as will everyone else. And let's face it; we all that that one person in our family who we love but we don't like to spend that much time with. Guess what--you don't have to! On a family reunion cruise, everyone can choose to do his own thing or you can do things as one group.

A cruise vacation offers a good time for every member of the family. For your grandfather who loves to golf, there are numerous courses in Nassau and Key West. For your cousins can't get enough of the water, there's swimming in one of the ship's multiple pools or perhaps diving & snorkeling in some of the world's clearest waters. As for your aunt or sister who loves to shop? The Caribbean, with its incredible prices on gemstones and perfumes, is THE place to shop 'til you drop!

You may be wondering: "But what about the kids? What will they do for fun?" No need to worry; Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Disney, Holland America, and Princess all have award-winning children's programs for ages 3 to 17. With activities for young and old alike, a cruise vacation is a vacation for every member of the family. There are so many exciting things to do, you'll never be able to do it all!

Remember what I mentioned earlier about no cooking? Well, on a cruise ship, you can eat virtually 24 hours a day--for no additional charge (excluding speciality restaurants found on some cruise ships). Yes, food is included, and you can eat and eat... fine dining, hotdogs and hamburgers, international buffets, round-the-clock pizza, complimentary room service, sushi... the list goes on and on.

So what is considered a "group?" It's just 8 double-occupancy cabins. The best part for you? The group leader gets to go for FREE! Get 16 cabins, and your spouse goes for free! You still have to pay government taxes and port charges of $150-$200 (depending on length of cruise), but what is such a small amount of money for an all-inclusive vacation?!

Yes, a Family Reunion on a cruise ship--now that's a vacation!!
